The fact the education and information are perceived to alter the self is sickening. The real problem is that retard independent, critical thinking are a threat to doctrine and ignorance, and thus must be restricted by imposing fear of that which is different. And what is really sad is that in this case, that which is different is not really so different but simply inconsistent with antiquated teachings from a different time.
