Well, unlike my Rockports, I cannot send my pair(s) of Doc Martens shoes in for repair/reconditioning. OK, granted, I seem to need about 5 years to get to the point where they need attention, but still, phooey. New soles are not even available for shoe repair shops. Double phooey. Resole America does Doc Marten boots, though. Phew.
