Steps 3-6, 7

Well, it has been a busy week and weekend. Work was really busy, and then this weekend I took care of several more steps on my 10-step program for getting out of Stepford. Repairs (step 3), financing for new house (step 4), downsize all my junk (step 5), and getting new carpet for the current house in order to sell it more quickly (step 6) are all (well, one more visit from the cleaners and I have yet to attack the garage fully) all essentially done! Yay! And so Step 7 (get my house on the market) will happen this week, I hope. Yay again!

Yesterday the house was essentially in a shambles as the new carpet was installed. Dust everywhere, ugh! But SHG and I got it all sorted out.

Today I went looking for a new house, which was fun but stressful. Several good prospects and several just plain dogs of houses. A couple were so astronomically priced I nearly fell out of my agent's SUV-lette. She and I both drooled over one of the workmen at one place, and traded notes on him, which broke up the day nicely.

So, I think I have made it over the hump.

Speaking of humps, I have stuck to the diet pretty well for about the last 5 days with a couple of wee-lapses here and there. No results yet, but tomorrow I will begin behaving better with it and hopefully get some results in another week!

I have lots more I could write, but I'm too tired right now, and need to get up for work tomorrow...so that's it for now.
