I have both Sirius and XM satellite radio: Sirius in the truck because the international news and the talk in general is better than XM, and XM in the house because the music is better than Sirius.
Every week I get the programming schedule etc. This week they each re-announced what's new:
Chick Channels. Take 5 (on XM and MARTHA on Sirius (now, Martha Stewart herself will not be on all the time). What caught my eye on the XM email was a pic of Ellen DeGeneres (that's how I actually found Take 5. Mind you, I love Ellen.
But all of a sudden it seemed to me like there's an interesting little competition going on:

Oh come on XM, do you siriusly think that a sorta lipstick lesbian and a slate of nobodies can compete with Martha, a demi-goddess to most gay men, queen of homemaking to the straight world, Empress of American Capitalism? Ech, my head is just spinning from it all!
