supreme court and recruiting at law schools

If you're not an NPR person or not interested in GLBT issues, you may or may not be aware of this. Tuesday the Supreme Court heard arguments regarding whether the federal government can deny federal funds to schools who ban military recruiters because they disagree with or do not want to appear to endorse the Pentagon's "don't ask, don't tell" policy about military personnel and their sexual orientation.

There were some really interesting arguments on both sides. I agree with the universities but only just barely. The ruling will be in January or so. I'm really interested to read the opinions of the justices. Go listen to the NPR story, it's pretty well-balanced.
