First of all, it may be officially 31.5 F downtown right now, but in my little yard just a few miles away it is 24. Feels like Iowa.

Ah Iowa. OK. Here are my unscientific predictions based on my vast knowledge of geology and fractal statistics.

Democratic Caucus: Not Obama. Iowans are too pragmatic to vote for somebody who cannot win.

Republican Caucus: Tough one. I will say Not Huckabee, for the same reason, but not with as much confidence.

I will actually turn the TV on tonight for the first time in two months, unless you count for the yule log DVD at Christmas (yes, I have one!!).
