Not just arresting, but reversing

When somebody at work sent me this link:

Reversal Of Alzheimer's Symptoms Within Minutes In Human Study

I thought "oh geez, nuttery and false hope." I just want my Dad's Alzheimer's to halt, but for it (or the symptoms) to be reversed would be, well, a miracle. And this seems like a miracle.

Well, I read it, and well, it's more than promising. The question is: will they have a treatment regimen figured soon enough for my Dad to benefit? And if so, how the Hell do you get it when he refuses to go for a formal diagnosis?

*sigh*
