back from denver

Well, I'm back. Barely.
Rather than going into the lurid details of the long, delayed, protracted journey home, let me reiterate my point on genetic screening. Happy to see pups and kitties, brought pup McDonalds. It's raining like Hell out there. I want my LR back, that will tomorrow.

Saw hogbody666, was really good to see him and just hang out with J & C & mouse as well. Although up in the mountains where they dwell, at 8500 ft, the air is so thin, and I was so tired from being up at 4 AM, that I literally fell asleep on them. Whoops. But they understood, good menches they are.

Trip was OK, not sure if it was worth it from a business standpoint. Visited two wee small companies. One does not even have anything loaded in 3D. We're a little too advanced for them. But we had some really good discussions and maybe we can do a little pilot project to show them how 3D data management/interrogation is not just pretty pictures. Hell, the other customer is still doing things by hand. You should have seen some of their seismic, it looked like this, rather than like this.

A note on Denver: Wow, what a neat place. Wow, what annoying traffic - 3rd worst in the country, although I dunno by whose count. Really expensive, lots of talk of a housing price bubble. Beautiful, clean, vibrant.

Need sleep. Lots of it.
