back home

Well, back home. No sense in going into all the lurid details of the journey back home, but let's just say the dead laptop nearly stayed with security in Calgary (you want to impound it? ok!), and being around a youth-group of teenagers for just an hour is really, really good birth control.

SO excited to see the critters and just sleep in my own bed.
Oh, and see SHG. :)

I am convinced that the ipod shuffle is the greatest invention in consumer electronics in a long time.

It's SULTRY here. Yelch! House is a disaster zone from the zoo running amok.

Off to the office for a bit in a while, then happy hour with the boys, then NOLA with SHG early in the AM, cannot wait to see G-hopper and D! Road trip! Thank God the LR has awesome A/C. Packing will be easier than Calgary: Just throw everything in the car, after all a gurl never knows exactly *which* pair of boots will be needed.
