Kroger-ganda

OK. SO.
Spun by Kroger this morning up in Stepford, grabbed my sanitary wipe on the way in, and was immediately assaulted by this intimidating man's voice coming through the loudspeakers, and LOUD. It was a monologue about America.

There was the usual land of the free, home of the brave, opportunity for all, and then something about indigenous peoples and transplants living in serene harmony but I don't remember the words... I do remember these, though, holy fuck:
America has families at her foundation, channeling their strength to her...
Education and a good life for all...
America will rise again to be a great land and show the world her strength and power

excuse me...when did the U.S. fall? errr, have we not been the most powerful nation on Earth and I missed it?

WTF? I will never set foot in that store again.
