Nausea

OK, so I get this email today telling me that the pictures below are used to test the level of stress a person can handle:
One teacher said, "I felt like they were all moving...But slowly. Kind of like, they were breathing."
The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress.
Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.
FYI ... None of these images are animated - they are perfectly static!

spinning...all the same way or like gears?

breathing..

coffee beans...

OK, I have some questions:

  1. What about convicted criminals?
  2. What about puppies?
  3. Can something be imperfectly static?
  4. The senior citizens probably had cataracts.
  5. Were the children given cookies?
  6. What if they slow down when you look at them closely? Does that mean your stress handling abilities are dynamic? What if they [stress handling abilities] are perfectly static? Do they move at the same speed at the same time all the time?
  7. What if the coffee bean one looks like it reverses? Are you regressing to a child-like better-stress handling state?
What if they just make you queasy???
