heresy alert

Christian Brothers Automotive Group, a Houston-based auto-repair company with outlets in TX, OK, TN, etc is opening two more stores in Houston. Cool.

They are a company based on fair, ethical, automotive repair. Cool.

They're obviously a Christian-oriented company. Fine. I go to a painfully Christian car wash.

Their mission statement in part is:
To glorify God by providing ethical and excellent automotive repair service for our customers...

HUH? How is that glorifying God, whoever (S)He is? To me, being ethical is a requirement of God (if (S)He's out there).

And the Bible/Koran/Torah/pick a holy book don't say much about being excellent in automotive repair...

(Now, motorcycle maintenance, that's another story)
You want my opinion? Well, even if you don't, here it is:
Sounds like good marketing to me.
