Dear Everybody:
Get off your asses and VOTE tomorrow! Even if there are no "important" races or initiatives or issues, get out there and vote because it does matter. Period. Not only is it your right to vote, it is your duty as a citizen. This was drilled into me by my immigrant parents, and I always vote. I am proud of my father who has a perfect voting record - you should see his signature card when he votes. You have no right to complain if you do not vote. Period.
Now, for you Texans, you better get out there and vote because there are some pretty stupid ballot items and constitutional amendments and our leaders need to be shown that people care enough to come out and participate in our government.
