Well, I am back in TX. And glad to be. Spent a week up at my folks' helping them after my Mom had surgery - all is coming along OK now. Not great, but OK.
Been settling into the inside the Peripherique (what I have nicknamed the 610 Loop) lifestyle pretty well...Enjoying not driving as far/long!
Went looking for houses last night, saw that I can pretty much afford to get what I want, and found a couple that I really liked, one ready to go but already with a buyer, and the other needing extra work. But encouraging! Yay!
Really looking forward to the long weekend. Need to keep house-hunting and unpack and organize my life.
