My coffee maker is too advanced for my dad. It is one of those nice ones with a timer, water filter and a metal mesh filter that swings out at the push of a button. A gift from G-hopp. I just found the water reservoir full of coffee. Thankfully the filter caught it all.
For some reason, when confused by the coffee maker, my father turns the gas stove on. So far he has lit it but I am afraid of the open flame and even worse if he just lets the gas go unlit.
So, at SHG's suggestion I have pulled all the fucking knobs off the stove.
